Overview

The Client Director leads strategic growth, client engagement and market positioning across priority Mass Transit clients and city-regions within the UK & Ireland. The role strengthens long-term partnerships, drives revenue and operational performance, and shapes integrated solutions that support transformational mass transit and placemaking programmes.

This role provides the opportunity to shape major mass transit programmes, influence city-scale transformation and build long-term strategic partnerships supporting sustainable mobility.

Your role

Client & Account Leadership
  • Act as the senior relationship lead for priority public-sector transport clients and city-region authorities.
  • Develop and deliver robust account plans aligned with market strategy and growth objectives.
  • Build trusted, long-term partnerships, enhancing existing relationships and expanding into new networks.

Client Insight & Strategic Understanding
  • Maintain deep understanding of client strategies, governance, priorities, drivers and risk environment.
  • Identify client needs and pain points, shaping compelling value propositions.
  • Share client intelligence across the organisation to align practices and delivery teams.

Business Development & Growth
  • Lead identification, shaping and conversion of must-win opportunities.
  • Sponsor major bids, ensuring strong commercial discipline.
  • Develop cross-selling opportunities and integrate global capability.

Delivery Oversight & Client Satisfaction
  • Provide senior oversight to ensure delivery excellence and client satisfaction.
  • Manage client risk, performance and issue resolution.

Collaboration & Leadership
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary virtual account teams.
  • Promote integration across Markets, Practices and Delivery.
  • Support development of emerging client leaders.

Brand Representation & Market Engagement
  • Represent the business at industry forums and events.
  • Build external presence in mass transit and mobility.

Performance Measures
  • Revenue growth and pipeline conversion.
  • Senior client relationship strength and retention.
  • Win performance and bid quality.
  • Delivery performance and commercial outcomes.
  • Contribution to employee engagement and inclusive culture.
