The Technical Assistant will support the NDT Technical Department by providing administrative and technical assistance across inspection‑related processes, documentation standards, and equipment management activities. The role focuses on supporting the implementation of the new digital reporting solution while carrying out data‑cleansing and system updates to maintain accuracy, consistency, and compliance. Additionally, the Technical Assistant will manage key project administration tasks, including maintaining documentation, updating records, supporting process improvements, and coordinating departmental activities.

Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Maintain, cleanse, and update company data across all relevant systems to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with the new digital reporting solution.
  • Support the updating, control, and organisation of NDT and Inspection documentation, processes, and records within company systems.
  • Carry out data‑entry activities within the company's NDT reporting system, ensuring all information is complete, accurate, and compliant with departmental requirements.
  • Assist with the management, tracking, and administrative control of NDT equipment, working in functional coordination with the Inspection Focal Point.
  • Upload reports, certificates, and associated documentation into predefined document‑management systems in a timely and structured manner.
  • Work in accordance with company safety, quality, and compliance standards, contributing to continuous improvement within the technical department.
  • Provide administrative and technical support to the implementation of the new digital reporting solution, including data‑cleansing and system‑update activities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Technical Authority to support the effective operation of the NDT Technical Department.


Qualifications and Experience
  • Administrative experience, ideally in a technical, engineering, or inspection-support environment.
  • No formal management experience required, but must coordinate activities with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills (written and verbal) essential for documentation control and reporting
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet client or project deadlines.
  • Effective team collaborator, able to work closely with various departments
  • Analytical and proactive problem‑solving skills, particularly for data cleansing and digital system updates.
  • High integrity and confidentiality, given exposure to technical, inspection, and equipment records.
  • Educational background in administration or business support preferred; SAP familiarity advantageous but not essential.
