About the mission we offer you:

The Cost Control & Risk Management department is responsible for monitoring, controlling, and forecasting contract project costs. In a context of continuous improvement and digitalization of reporting, the team is looking to strengthen its business intelligence capabilities, particularly the implementation and improvement of automated dashboards to facilitate management decision-making.

The intern will play a key role in the visualization and analysis of operational and financial data.

Main tasks

1. Dashboard & reporting development

• Design and develop interactive dashboards (Power BI)
• Create clear, relevant visualizations tailored to management needs.
• Standardize and automate financial and operational reporting.
• Implement reliable, consistent, and easily interpretable KPIs.

2. Data Management & Data Preparation

• Collect, consolidate, and structure data from various sources (Excel, SQL, ERP, internal systems).
• Participate in improving data flows and reliability processes.
• Verify the quality and consistency of data before integration into dashboards.

What the intern will learn

• Understand how cost control works in complex projects.
• Structure and visualize financial and operational data.
• Develop dashboards used by management.
• Discover a modern data environment (Data Platform, MDM, automation).

Duration : 4 to 6 months

About you:

We love to hear from you and how you match with this position. To be successful in this mission you should consider the following requirements:

Technical

• Very good command of Power BI
• Knowledge of query languages (DAX; SQL appreciated).
• Proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, PowerQuery would be a plus).
• Understanding of financial reporting principles/KPIs/cost analysis (a real plus, but not mandatory).

Professional

• Ability to analyze and synthesize information.
• Visualization skills: ability to present data in a clear and relevant manner.
• Results-oriented and service-minded.
• Rigorous and reliable in handling data.

Soft Skills

• Curiosity, proactivity, eagerness to learn.
• Autonomy but ability to work in a team.
• Good communication skills (written & oral).

Education

Student in:

• Engineering school,
• University (Master's in data, math, computer science, economics),
• Business school with a specialization in Data/Finance,
• Or any equivalent data, BI, or management control-oriented program.

Tools & technologies used

• Power BI (main tool)
• Excel (PowerQuery, PowerPivot)
• SQL (if possible)
• Internal Data Platform environment (Synapse, SQL server, etc.)
