JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood delivers maintenance and turnaround services for the Ampol Lytton Refinery and is seeking experienced heavy industry Trades Assistants for the upcoming mid-year FCCU shutdown. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, high-performing team working on a major refinery event, commencing at the beginning of June for approximately 8 weeks.

This short-term role offers strong EBA benefits and rates, all while allowing you to remain based at home. Penalty rates apply.

As this is a Brisbane-based role, only local applicants will be considered at this time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Demonstrable strong focus and commitment to safety
• Enjoy working in a team environment and self-motivated
• Ability to work autonomously when required, while taking ownership of the role.

QUALIFICATIONS

• You will have proven TA maintenance experience in heavy industry environments
• Previous Shutdown/T&I experience is a definite advantage
• Current Forklift License desirable, but not essential
• Excellent communication skills
• You must have Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets
• Must be available to pass a Wood medical,after providing the required safety tickets, construction card and driver's licence to MyPass.
