KBR is seeking an experienced leader to build, manage, and set direction for a team of teams supporting DoD flight test programs and experimentation events for the Test Resource Management Center (TRMC). As part of the world's largest independent flight test organization supporting both U.S. Government agencies and commercial businesses, you will be joining a highly talented and experienced team that has provided over 40 continuous years of operational support to a large population of customers contributing to transformative capabilities for our national defense and transportation industry.

Responsibilities:
The Site Lead will provide leadership and management and be responsible for day-to-day operations of facilities, test and evaluation activities, and logistics. The KBR Site lead will interface with multiple stakeholders from the local, state and federal government, the aerospace industry, the test and evaluation community, multiple DoD Acquisition Programs, and game changing Science and Technology project teams. The position is a combination of technical leadership and resource management. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of technical and staff capability, consistency, quality and efficiency related to development, test and evaluation, modification, configuration management, maintenance, and operations.
Additionally, the Site Lead is responsible for the organizational performance of the team and maturing the team's technical capabilities: skills, methods, processes, and tools. They will drive effective mission execution while exemplifying a high degree of accountability, teamwork, and a high-performance culture.

Work Environment:
- Location: 100% On-site, Niceville, FL
- Travel Requirements: Position is based in Grand Forks, ND - limited travel may be required
- Working Hours: Standard
- This is a supervisory position
Minimum Qualifications:
- Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain a Top Secret clearance, which is something only a U.S. Citizen can obtain
- Education: Master's degree in Engineering, Science or Business
- A minimum of 20 years of professional experience within the aerospace industry, including significant exposure to flight operations, organizational leadership, and multi‑platform aviation environments
- Must possess at least 1,000 total flight hours accumulated across a combination of manned and unmanned aircraft, reflecting broad operational proficiency and adaptability
- Demonstrated experience leading, managing, and mentoring teams responsible for operating, maintaining, and sustaining complex aerospace systems across multiple platforms
- Proven background in overseeing large‑scale aviation programs, including operational planning, mission execution, maintenance coordination, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Must demonstrate a comprehensive and in‑depth understanding of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) systems, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) operating concepts, and the regulatory framework governing both manned and unmanned flight operations
- Ability to assess operational requirements and translate them into facility specifications that support aviation mission systems, maintenance operations, launch/recovery capabilities, and secure command‑and‑control environments. Experience developing sustainment plans, lifecycle maintenance strategies, and long‑term infrastructure roadmaps
