As we head toward our Net Zero goals, managing our electricity, gas, and water consumption isn't just a "green" initiative, it's a commercial priority. We're looking for an Energy Project Specialist who can turn data into action and trials into business wide reality.

You won't just be crunching numbers in a spreadsheet. You will be the bridge between new technology and our stores. You'll identify where we're wasting energy, forecast potential savings, and lead trials that prove your theories. Once you've validated the data, you'll build the business cases that allow us to scale these solutions across our entire estate.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Spotting energy reduction wins across electricity, gas, and water.
• Delivering on site trials for new technologies or operational shifts.
• Translating complex energy data into compelling stories for stakeholders at all levels.
• Using sales, margin, and feedback data to ensure your projects work for colleagues and customers, not just the planet.

About you

You're likely a project manager at heart with a curious mind for how things work. You should have a passion for energy and a knack for spotting a more efficient way of doing things. You will:

• Have a solid understanding of the energy sector (Electricity, Gas, and Water).
• Have proven experience in landing projects, ideally within a retail or fast paced operational environment.
• Understand how your work impacts the wider budget and our Net Zero KPIs.
• Have high proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, with the ability to dive deep into data analysis.
• Have the ability to educate and influence everyone from store colleagues to senior directors.
• Be the person always asking, "Is there a better way to do this?"
