Overview

This position will be responsible for carrying out duties of an independent inspection Consultant (IIC) for bridges and highway structures

Responsibilities:

• Conduct structure inspection on highway structures to assess structural condition, identify defects and evaluate structural integrity.
• Prepare and review inspection reports and arrange submissions.
• Project Management: plan and coordinate structure inspection, including scheduling inspections, allocating resources, and monitoring programme.
• Co-ordination and collaboration with Term Contractor

Requirement:

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent related;
• Corporate Member of HKIE(Civil/Structural)/ICE/IStructE;
• 5 years relevant post-chartered experience in bridge design, construction or maintenance;
• Design, construction or maintenance experience of bridges, noise barriers, sign gantries, and/or other highway structures;
• Experienced in HyD Term Contract is highly preferred;
• Good communication skill in English and Cantonese.
