JOB DESCRIPTION
Wood has a collaborative maintenance contract with Ampol to deliver leading maintenance services to their Lytton site in Brisbane.
We are seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Lead with industrial maintenance experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry to drive operational excellence analysing process data, upskilling and provide mentoring to the team to improve productivity, quality and cost effectiveness.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze workflows and use data to reduce process losses, enhance reliability, and improve quality and productivity
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities and implement processes that have zero downtime or impact to operations
- Lead cross-functional teams to embed a culture of compliance and continuous improvement across operations
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders acting as the primary contact for operational improvement
- Coaching and mentoring staff on work systems, tools and mindset
- Develop, monitor, and report key performance metrics
- Maintain accurate records related improvement initiatives
- Drive initiatives to standardize processes, improve safety, and ensure sustainability of results.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field
- Proficient in using data to identify root causes and measure improvement success
- Proven ability to influence teams, manage change, and mentor staff at all levels
- Previous experience in industrial maintenance or related industry
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and communicate changes effectively
- Lean Six Sigma qualifications and Reliability experience is preferable.
