SOFTWARE ENGINEER isrequired by our client, a project solutions provider, to be assigned on a contract basis, located in Richland, Washington.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify and recommend ceramics (domestic and international requirements) processing improvements supporting a 30% increase to Richland HRR operations NLT 2030.
• Develop draft design plan for Richland Horn Rapids Road (HRR) workshops (ceramics) assigned.
• Identify and develop action plans for project milestones.
• Recommend items for procurement.
• Identify and develop risks for resolution.
• Refine study scope for areas of assignment (ceramics).
• Identify and provide recommendations to improve existing equipment and processes for upgrade/replacement.
• Identify schedule requirements and milestones to ensure study completion.
• Inform scenario development.
• Provide courses of action and recommendations, helping to inform project roadmap.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development within industrial, manufacturing, or process-driven environments.
• Experience supporting facility expansions, automation initiatives, or production capacity increase projects.
• Experience working with industrial systems, manufacturing execution systems (MES), or process control environments.
