Your role and responsibilities

You will have the opportunity to contribute to improving Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) performance in your assigned area of responsibility to cultivate a high-performance culture with a strong focus on HSE.

Each day, you will support the business by applying in-depth HSE knowledge and offering solutions and advice. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring effective risk management through HSE excellence along the ABB value chain.

Work model for the role is: #LI-onsite/hybrid.

In this role, you'll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for:
  • Reporting HSE incidents to the management and relevant stakeholders and taking appropriate actions.
  • Facilitating, assisting, and providing guidance on incident investigations to learn better ways for mitigating risks.
  • Providing feedback to the management and employees on lessons learned and best practices from within their own unit and across ABB.
  • Supporting and driving behavioral change through the local implementation of group-wide and business-specific performance improvement programs and practices.


Qualifications for the role
  • Ability to demonstrate your experience as Prevention technician in the environment and workplace.
  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of Management system, IT competences - office tools and Previous experience in safety (Safety Manager supporting).
  • You are passionate about operative activities: half time spend in the factory supervising safety items and you have Good communications skills.
  • Degree in Engineering or Prevention technician in the environment and workplace.
  • You are at ease communicating in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
