Intertek Turkey office is seeking a "GDO Analyst" for its Food Laboratory team.

• Graduates of Food Engineering, Molecular Biology and Genetics, or Biology departments at universities
• Minimum 2 years of laboratory experience in molecular biology
• Knowledge of the ISO 17025 Quality Management System
• Experience supporting laboratory accreditation processes
• Experienced in GMO, Meat Species Identification, and Allergen analyses
• Proficient in DNA isolation, PCR / Real Time PCR techniques
• Has been involved in method verification and validation studies
• Has a good command of English
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Team player, attentive and responsible
• Quality and customer-oriented approach to work.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Conduct analyses in the GDOunit of the Food Laboratory in accordance with procedures and instructions
• Work in compliance with the requirements of the ISO 17025 Quality Management System and maintain complete records
• Assume technical responsibility for processes from sample acceptance to reporting
• Apply test methods related to GDO analyses and participate in method validation studies when necessary
• Perform daily checks, maintenance, and performance monitoring of devices
• Provide relevant documentation and technical support during internal and external audit processes
• Contribute to root cause analysis in cases of nonconformity and deviation and implement corrective actions
• Work in compliance with occupational health and safety rules
• Support the preparation of weekly/monthly analysis performance data.
