Essential:
• 4-year apprenticeship or NVQ level 3 equivalent
• Wood mandatory training, induction, RA, etc.
• City and Guilds in Mechanical discipline
• CCNSG safety passport / IOSH / NEBOSH
Desirable:
• Manual Handling
• ISSOW
• ONC in an Engineering related subject

RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Safely plan and execute integrity repairs across terminal and offshore assets.
- Prioritise repair orders with Inspection Engineering and package work scopes.
- Prepare work packs and coordinate inputs for Campaign and Construction teams.
- Ensure work is sequenced and integrated into onshore/offshore schedules.
- Performance‑manage engineering and construction contractors.
- Coordinate scaffolding, fabric maintenance, asbestos, deck crew, coatings and decontamination contractors.
- Issue SOWs for survey, engineering, fabrication and delivery.
- Review engineering CTRs, fabrication deliverables and SAP uploads.
- Maintain modification trackers, FDS registers and RO work status.
- Provide daily support to Offshore Construction Supervisors and ensure materials and resourcing readiness.
- Identify efficiency opportunities, cost savings and improve work delivery processes.
- Participate in construction planning calls and technical discussions.
- Support Spirit Energy's major accident prevention policy and safe operations.
Working Relationships:
- Repair Order & Minor Mods Manager (Aberdeen Hub) - oversight, prioritisation and approvals.
- Spirit Integrity Lead Engineers (Onshore & Offshore) - technical input and inspection priorities.
- Spirit Asset Planner - integration of ROs and minor mods into the Morecambe Hub plan.
- Wood Cost Engineers - cost control, CTR review and budget alignment.
- Onshore OCS - planning, readiness checks, workpack validation and preparation for offshore execution.
- Offshore OCS/OSS Teams - day‑to‑day coordination during execution, sequencing and resolving readiness or material issues.
