Accountant (Renewable Energy ) Location: Ho Chi Minh City | Hybrid Industry: Renewable Energy / Infrastructure An international renewable energy platform with operations across Asia-Pacific is seeking a hands-on Executive Accountant to support consolidation, reporting, and statutory compliance in Vietnam. This role sits within a lean finance team and offers strong exposure to regional reporting and IFRS consolidation. Key Responsibilities • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with VAS and IFRS • Prepare consolidation working papers and support group reporting submissions • Post month-end and year-end journal entries including accruals, prepayments, dismantling provisions, deferred tax, hedging and other closing entries • Book audit adjustments and reconcile retained earnings under both VAS and IFRS • Liaise with external auditors and advisors to finalise statutory reporting • Upload and validate reporting data in consolidation systems • Prepare dashboards and variance analysis for regional review • Support M&A and financial due diligence activities when required • Draft official correspondence for tax authorities and regulatory bodies • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and reporting standards Requirements • Degree in Finance or Accountancy • 4 years of relevant accounting experience with in-house corporate experience • Strong experience in consolidation and VAS-IFRS reporting • SAP experience is mandatory • Hands-on experience working within an MNC environment preferred • Fluent English (written and spoken) is required to work effectively with regional stakeholders across APAC • Comfortable working in a complex operating structure • Hands-on, detail-oriented, and proactive
