Job Description Summary

Unison, a GE Aerospace company, is the leading provider of differentiated engine controls, accessories, and performance monitoring solutions in the Aerospace, Defense & Space segments. Serving both original equipment manufacturers and aftermarket customers, Unison designs, manufactures and supplies the most advanced components and systems in the world.

Activities contributing to the design and development of products, solutions and systems. Includes activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Perform electromagnetic design analyses and calculations as needed.
  • Prepare and deliver analysis results to large audiences.
  • Interpret and clarify customer technical expectations.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Team to achieve internal cost targets and establish cost objectives.
  • Define and uphold technical compliance with customer requirements.
  • Adhere to project schedules and meet deadlines.
  • Coordinate technical design efforts with other Unison resources, including Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, and integrated product teams.
  • Draft technical proposals and present technical details to customers.
  • Generate comprehensive design and analysis reports.
  • Other Assignments may include:
  • Be the primary technical customer point of contact
  • Thermal analysis
  • Structural analysis
  • Cost reductions
  • Production product improvements and factory support
  • Internal research & development
  • Resolution of field issues
  • Other coordination and problem solving projects as assigned


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in engineering).

  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.


The base pay range for this position is $ 86,000 - $108,000 . The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on March 11, 2026.
