Function Description

As a Chief Officer onboard a tugboat, you will act as the vessel's second‑in‑command, supporting the Master in ensuring safe and efficient maritime operations. Your duties will include standing navigational watches, assisting with voyage planning, and ensuring full compliance with international regulations. ou will lead and supervise the deck crew, manage daily deck operations, and oversee the maintenance of lifesaving and firefighting equipment. Additionally, you will plan and supervise all cargo‑related activities, maintain vessel stability through proper ballast operations, and ensure that safety procedures, emergency drills, and security measures are rigorously followed.

Requirements

Requirements:

• STCW Chief Mate / Chief Officer Certificate of Competency (500-3000 GT)
• BRM
• ARPA
• Basic Safety Training
• GMDSS Endorsement.
• Advanced Firefighting certificate
• Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats
• Medical Fitness Certificate
• Previous towage experience
• Valid Passport
