We’re seeking an experienced Trading Manager to join a growing renewable energy IPP operating across Southern Europe. In this role, you’ll monitor energy markets, execute trading strategies, negotiate hedging arrangements, and build relationships with key market counterparties including utilities, traders, corporates, and brokers.

You’ll lead transactions across multiple European markets, working closely with internal teams such as Finance, Legal, and Asset Management. The position requires strong analytical ability, solid market insight, and confidence in managing complex commercial negotiations.

What you’ll do:

• Trade electricity futures, forwards and options
• Identify and execute hedging opportunities
• Manage and optimise existing contracts
• Analyse market fundamentals and forward curves
• Build and maintain strong external market relationships
• Support the development of long‑term offtake strategies

What you’ll bring:

• 4 years’ experience in energy trading or a related field
• Strong understanding of European power markets
• Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills
• Fluency in English and Spanish (Italian/Portuguese a plus)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
