Key aims and objectives

• To supervise the installation of a new set of security gates for the entry and exit to site for vehicles.
• To deliver a high quality, consistent and competent construction service in accordance with project / company requirements, standards and procedures
• To support overall delivery of company goals and schedule
• To ensure all that all work scope is completed in a safe manner ensuring no detrimental impact to personnel, fabric or environment.
• To perform all required discipline tasks, safely, consistently and in accordance with project requirements, procedures and specifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

Prime responsibilities and duties

• Lead and supervise a team of workers, assigning tasks, and providing guidance as needed.
• Read, understand and implement all applicable company / project policies, working practices and procedures, ensuring at all times that the plating/structural work scope is completed safely and to a high standard
• Follow the schedule.
• Complete all workscope in accordance with applicable workpack / jobcard instructions, associated procedures and drawings / sketches
• Provide support to other trades/disciplines where required, or form part of an integrated multi-discipline team
• Apply for relevant permits to work (PTW) in order to complete workscope in a controlled and safe manner (onshore only)
• Undertake appropriate Risk Assessments (RA) in order to complete workscope in a safe and controlled manner

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential

• 4 Year Apprenticeship or Level 3 equivalent
• Wood mandatory training, induction, risk awareness, etc
• Abrasive Wheels
• Working at Height/Harness training
• Appropriate supervisory documentation and evidence.

Desirable:

• Manual Handling
• I.S.S.O.W.
