ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Perform inspections on components, purchased parts, and/or finished products as required.
- Perform source inspections at facilities.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain files of inspection documents.
- Review inspection records received for compliance.
- Maintain inspection and measuring equipment.
- Prepare and coordinate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR's) for nonconforming parts.
- Maintain NOV guidelines on safety, quality, and delivery.
- Clean work areas as necessary to maintain cleanliness, health, and safety standards.
- All other reasonable tasks are assigned with the goal of helping the team, operations, or the facility overall.
FACILITY/GROUP -SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES/EXPECTATIONS
- Champion facility goals for Quality, Safety, Innovation, and Cost - seek opportunities to provide feedback on process improvements, cost savings, and opportunities to work more efficiently and/or safely.
- Remain open to feedback and collaboration with other departments and business units.
- Regular attendance and timeliness.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1 - 2 years of Non-destructive inspection experience is required.
- 3 or more years of related experience and/or training preferred but not required
- Experience in Quality Control, Machinist, or General Manufacturing is highly preferred
- Demonstrable experience reading and understanding engineering prints.
- Demonstrable experience using precision measuring instruments.
- Demonstrable experience using computer software programs (GagePack, ERP,Excel, Word).
