Job Description

• Appropriate academic qualifications (Bachelor's/ Master's Degree in Electrical, Electronics and/or Communications Engineering or equivalent).
• Basic understanding of Traffic Signals and/or Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS).
• Passion for designing and developing traffic-signalized intersections and ITS solutions, including Variable Message Signs (VMS), CCTV systems, vehicle detection systems, power and communication networks.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate ITS components into broader transport and infrastructure projects.
• Basic understanding of British, American, Canadian, and other international design standards and specifications (training will be provided).
• Basic knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Trimble Pro for electrical calculations.
• Familiarity with modern communication tools and online working platforms.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel and Word.
• Ability to deliver assigned tasks within set time frames.
• Willingness to learn to work independently and gradually take responsibility for small tasks or components of projects.
• Exposure to or interest in working within an off-shoring/global delivery environment (desirable).
• Interest in digital delivery tools and methods (desirable).
• Ability to collaborate with wider teams and eagerness to learn from engineers/senior engineers/leads.
