Responsibilities:
- Perform fabrication, welding and repairs on various equipment.
- Fabricate and repair products according to blueprints and work orders using brazing and various arc/gas welding techniques
- Execute torch cutting, grinding, and precision metal fusion processes
- Position and clamp components of fabricated metal products before welding
- Repair broken parts, fill holes, and modify metal components as needed
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
- Uphold rigorous quality, health, safety, and environmental standards
- Available for 24-hour operations as required
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Expertise in welding techniques
- Overhead crane operation skills
- Strong attention to detail and precision work capabilities
- Adaptability to the dynamic demands of the oil industry
- Commitment to safety protocols and quality standards
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum 3 years of related welding experience
- Experience in a fabrication environment
- Certified overhead crane operation
- Experience welding and grinding on tools
Qualifications Preferred:
- Brazing experience
- Previous work in oil and gas industry
- Additional welding certifications
