JOB DESCRIPTION

At National Oilwell Varco (NOV), we are looking for passionate full-stack engineers who enjoy building scalable, high-performance systems that power critical operations. As part of our team, you'll contribute to developing reliable and efficient backend solutions that support innovative digital products used across the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using .NET Core (C#) and Angular.
• Build secure and scalable RESTful APIs and integrate them with Angular frontend.
• Implement business logic using SQL (queries, indexing, stored procedures, schema design).
• Develop rich, responsive UIs with Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, NgRx, CSS/SCSS, and Bootstrap.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and optimal performance across devices.
• Collaborate with backend, frontend, and design teams to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices, and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements:

• Overall 4 to 7 years of experience in software development.
• Strong expertise in .NET Core (C#) backend development.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL (database design, optimization, indexing, stored procedures).
• Proficiency in Angular , TypeScript, RxJS, and NgRx for state management.
• Strong frontend development skills with CSS/SCSS, Bootstrap, Flex/Grid layouts.
• Experience integrating REST/GraphQL APIs with frontend.
• Solid understanding of software design patterns, clean code, and debugging techniques.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice to Have (Plus)

• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / Workflows).
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
• Cloud experience with AWS / Azure (Lambda, API Gateway, EKS/AKS).
