Instrumentation Material Engineer: What will your missions and responsibilities be?
- Preparation of the technical tender documentation.
- Follow-up of supplier technical documentation.
- Preparation of datasheets and requisitions.
- Evaluation of supplier offers.
- Preparation of TBT / TBE (Technical Bid Tabulation / Technical Bid Evaluation).
- Preparation and follow-up of technical clarifications.
- Issuing and clarifying offers with other disciplines (Process / Piping Material / Corrosion, etc.).
- Organization of technical clarification meetings with suppliers.
- Monitoring of quantities and design changes.
- Updating MASTER documents (P&IDs, official documents, etc.).
- Formalizing technical feedback.
What profile and skills are required for this Instrumentation Material Engineer position?
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation equipment (flow meters, control valves, ON/OFF valves, safety valves).
- Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (API, IEC, ISA, ASME, etc.).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat to comment on PDF documents.
- Knowledge of SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) - HEXAGON, as a user.
- Fluent English.
