Intertek Turkey office is seeking a "Food Laboratory - Laboratory Responsible (Mineral) " for the Food Laboratory team.

• Graduates of Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry departments at universities
• With a minimum of 3 years of laboratory experience
• Experienced in ICP-MS / ICP-OES devices and preferably knowledgeable about food, food contact materials/substances, or packaging analyses
• Experienced in the ISO 17025 Quality Management System; knowledgeable about laboratory accreditation processes, quality and customer-oriented
• Familiar with Ministry of Agriculture inspection processes
• Competent in planning, organization, delegation, coordination, initiative, time and crisis management
• Good relationship management and teamwork skills
• Analytical thinking skills
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Ensure, maintain, monitor, and continuously improve the compliance of all activities of the Food Laboratory Mineral Unit with the ISO 17025 Quality Management System.
• Conduct accreditation processes for the unit.
• Perform the analyses for which it is responsible on samples received by the laboratory in accordance with instructions and report them in a timely manner.
• Conduct validation and verification studies.
• Ensuring that records are kept regularly and completely
• Tracking laboratory consumables and standards
• Performing the technical and administrative duties assigned to them within the scope of the quality management system.
