Let me tell you about the role:

• The CAD, Engineering Isometric Data Specialist (Drawings Coordinator) is responsible for the implementation and support of the storage and management of the refinery's drawings.
• Setting up the drawing file
• Improving the drawing processing and management system
• Providing information to engineering firms and BP Refinery Rotterdam employees about the bp Refinery Rotterdam drawing system
• Registering drawings
• Coordination of repro work
• Communicating specific bp Refinery Rotterdam requirements for drawings as laid down in the IOS (Information Transfer Specifications)
• Performs the final inspection of as-built drawings delivered by a project, including associated quality controls, based on applicable IOS specifications and standards.
• Reports to Project Managers on the as-built drawings delivered by a project (quality/status)
• Inform the I&R Lead Engineer Data Files & Drawings in a timely manner about the measures to be taken to realize your agreed service provision.
• Responsible for a good working relationship with your internal customers
• Ensure up-to-date procedures that describe the work processes and quality standards of the Drawings group,
• Responsible for the quality and planning of the work resulting from requested drawing assignments.
• Ensure that the work carried out by the group is allocated to the correct budget.
• Responsible for the storage, indexing, lending and distribution of technical drawings in accordance with BPRR procedures and work instructions,
• Verify that drawings have been updated in accordance with the design brief and BPRR quality requirements. Your clients are responsible for the technical integrity of the drawings.
• Ensure that, through efficient incoming inspection, drawings supplied by third parties meet BPRR quality standards,
• Responsible for defining the requirements for optimal support of the systems used by your group (AUTOCAD, Documentum, SAP).
• Enable draftsmen employed by third parties to update drawings efficiently on-site,

The powers of the Drawings Coordinator are:

• Making working agreements with BPRR Project Managers regarding the deployment of third-party draftsmen at the BPRR location,
• Making working agreements with BPRR drawing clients,
• Advising the I&R Lead Engineer Data Files & Drawings regarding the composition of the Drawings group,
• Advising the I&R Lead Engineer Data Files & Drawings on further optimizing the service provision,
• Developing quality standards and procedures for the Drawings group. Approval is provided by the I&R Lead Engineer for Data Files & Drawings.

• Customer Support - Acting as a point of contact to support service users and customers reporting issues, requesting information, access, or other services.

What you will need to be successful

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering (Preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Instrumentation)
• 5+ years of work experience in AutoCad (2D drawings), ALIM or any other EDMS systems
• Experience with engineering work
• Experience in Bentley ALIM (EDMS), Maximo, CAD, SPI, SAP or other CRM systems is preferred
• Direct process management experience including procedures, driving innovation, continuous improvement, technologies, processes, procedures and tools
• Ability to analyze raw data/input images, drawing conclusions and developing recommendations
• Experience of working cross culturally and in an international environment
• Ability to communicate and influence across different levels in the organization
• Engaging and collaborative way of working
• Resilient and experienced in working in multi-faceted environment
