- Own project P&L including revenue delivery, margin protection, overhead management, and forecasting.
- Implement cost controls, change valuation, invoicing/billing accuracy, cash collection, and WIP management.
- Lead risk & opportunity reviews to protect margin and improve outcomes.
- Contribute to proposals and project baselines (scope, schedule, cost, resources).
- Develop and maintain the Project Execution Plan (PEP), scope of work, deliverables register, master schedule, budget, org charts, and risk register.
- Drive delivery to approved schedule and budget, intervening early to prevent slippage.
- Manage change control: scope/specifications, cost, schedule, and quality impacts per Change Management process.
- Maintain ongoing risk identification, assessment, and mitigation throughout execution.
- Participate in assurance activities and peer reviews; ensure audit actions are closed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead a multidiscipline team (including external specialists; multi-office/site) and ensure competency and clear role assignment.
- Foster a performance improvement culture within the project and supply chain
- Provide visible HSSE leadership; implement initiatives, audits, and proactive issue resolution.
- Ensure adherence to quality management requirements and timely closure of NCRs.
- Serve as principal point of contact for the customer; manage expectations and relationships.
- Report progress and performance to senior management and the client (schedule, cost, risk, change, HSSE, quality).
- Negotiate and agree changes, claims, and variations as required.
- Promote innovation and digitalisation (e.g., workshare, high-value engineering centres, tools/technology) to add value.
- Set up and manage information management systems/applications across project phases.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline (Master's a plus).
- 8-12+ years of project delivery experience in energy/EPC/EPCM or industrial sectors (adjust years for level).
- Demonstrated commercial acumen with P&L responsibility on projects of comparable size/complexity.
- Strong command of planning tools (Primavera P6/MS Project) and enterprise systems (Oracle/SAP).
- Certifications: PMP®, PRINCE2®, APM (preferred).
- Solid understanding of HSSE and quality systems; incident-free leadership track record.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Schedule Performance Index (SPI), Cost Performance Index (CPI)
- Approved change vs. baseline; margin variance
- Cash collection/DSO; forecast accuracy
- HSSE metrics (TRIR/LTI-free performance)
- Quality/NCR closure timeliness; client satisfaction
