Short Description

We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Project Engineer / Site Engineer to support an active project in Redcar, United Kingdom. This role is available for an immediate start and will run until the end of May, with strong potential for follow‑up work on a second DP project starting June/July in Whitburn.

Function Description

On the project you will be expected to:

• Provide technical and operational support to the on-site project team
• Coordinate with supervisors, floor hands, and DP personnel to ensure smooth daily operations
• Assist with planning, progress tracking, and reporting
• Ensure safe and efficient execution of umbilical insertion and DP-related activities
• Troubleshoot operational challenges and communicate solutions effectively
• Maintain site documentation, logs, permits, and compliance records
• Support quality and HSE requirements according to project standards
• Liaise between site operations and project management teams

Requirements

• Experience as a Project Engineer, Site Engineer, Operations Engineer, or similar
• Strong understanding of Direct Pipe project workflows
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams on a live project site
• Familiarity with HSE procedures and safe work practices
• Proactive mindset and strong problem‑solving ability
• Ability to start immediately
• UK Work permit
