Material / Parts Engineer I Location: Wilmington, United States Start Date: 09 March 2026 Pay Rate: $48.64 Per Hour Job Description: As a Material / Parts Engineer I, you will be responsible for managing the selection, evaluation, and qualification of materials and parts used in the manufacturing process. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure that materials meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement material and parts specifications Conduct material testing and analysis Collaborate with suppliers to resolve material quality issues Provide technical support to manufacturing teams Identify cost-saving opportunities through material optimization Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field 3+ years of experience in material or parts engineering Strong knowledge of materials testing and analysis techniques Experience working with suppliers and managing vendor relationships Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
