The Trainee Field Specialist - Completions & Liner Hanger is an entry-level technical role designed for early-career professionals seeking to develop expertise in oilfield completion and liner hanger operations.

The role will initially be based in the workshop, where the trainee will gain hands-on experience in servicing, assembling, inspecting, and testing completion and liner hanger tools. This phase will provide strong technical knowledge of equipment functionality, maintenance procedures, and operational standards.

Following the workshop training period, the trainee will gradually transition to field operations, supporting Field Specialists during completion and liner hanger installations at the wellsite while ensuring compliance with company safety, quality, and operational standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the assembly, disassembly, servicing, and redressing of completion and liner hanger tools in the workshop.
• Perform equipment inspection, maintenance, cleaning, and function testing before field deployment.
• Support preparation and mobilization of tools and equipment for field operations.
• Assist Field Specialists during completion and liner hanger installation operations at the wellsite.
• Participate in pre-job meetings, toolbox talks, and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).
• Monitor operational activities and assist with data collection and job reporting.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are maintained in safe and organized working conditions.
• Follow company HSE policies, procedures, and industry safety standards at all times.
• Identify and report hazards, unsafe conditions, or equipment issues.
• Maintain accurate operational documentation, service tickets, and equipment records.
• Work closely with Field Specialists and supervisors to develop technical and operational knowledge.
• Participate in training programs and competency development related to completion systems and liner hanger tools.

Qualifications:

• 0-1 year of experience preferred
• Willingness to work in workshop and field operations
• At least one internship with an international oilfield service company
• Basic knowledge of well completion tools and downhole equipment
