Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to coordinate and facilitate the development, implementation, and successful onboarding of digital solutions. Each day, you will support the adoption of digital platform and solutions into the customer business environment along with their subsequent operations and maintenance. You will also showcase your expertise by participating in the ideation workstreams from identifying and validating the needs to defining the development.

The work model for the role is: onsite

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • MES System Implementation & New Function Development
    a. Lead the introduction, custom development and deployment of MES systems for new production lines; oversee the full lifecycle management of MES systems, including requirements analysis, solution design, system configuration, commissioning, go-live and subsequent iterative optimization.
    b. Thoroughly understand requirements from production, quality, logistics and other business departments, translate business needs into feasible technical solutions and system functions, and resolve complex technical issues during MES implementation.
    c. Design, develop and optimize production reports and data dashboards related to the MES system; promote the standardization and visualization of production data to provide accurate data support for production management decision-making.
    d. Participate in interface development and integration between MES and other systems (e.g., ERP, PLC, SCADA) to ensure smooth data interaction and efficient collaboration across systems.
  • MES System Training, Technical Support & Overall Daily Operation & Maintenance
    a. Oversee daily MES operation and maintenance and troubleshooting; build an MES O&M team to quickly respond to urgent system needs from workshops and departments; coordinate with the IS team and vendors to resolve complex faults and ensure the system meets service level requirements.
    b. Manage user access rights, configuration changes and version control of the MES system; develop and maintain technical documents, user operation manuals and training materials for the MES system.
    c. Provide MES operation training and technical guidance for key users, collect user feedback, continuously optimize system functions and improve system usability and efficiency.
    d. Keep track of industry trends in MES technology, and introduce advanced technical methods to optimize the existing system.


Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Automation, Industrial Engineering or related fields.
  • 3-5 years of in-house MES system development or implementation experience in a manufacturing enterprise; background in discrete manufacturing (e.g., automotive, machinery, motor) is required; familiar with core business processes including production, material and quality management, with a solid understanding of factory operations.
  • Familiar with mainstream MES products such as Siemens, Camstar, Rockwell, Dingjie etc.; proven experience in the full MES project lifecycle from requirements investigation to system go-live; hands-on experience in MES configuration, custom development, interface integration and troubleshooting.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; able to independently attend international meetings, conduct technical discussions and clarify requirements with the global team; proficient in reading English technical documents and writing clear English emails and reports.
  • Proficient in at least one programming language with solid coding fundamentals; skilled in Oracle or SQL Server databases; competent in database design and query optimization; able to independently design and develop production reports and data dashboards.
  • Knowledge of industrial automation fundamentals; familiarity with common industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC UA/DA, TCP/IP) is a plus; experience in cross-system interface development and integration, and participation in data integration between MES, ERP, PLC and other systems.
  • Proactive and self-motivated; able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and ensure on-time delivery. Clear logical thinking; able to understand complex business rules and translate them into system configuration requirements.
