Company Description

We are seeking a junior HSE Supervisor - ISBL to join Mozambique LNG on a 28x28 onshore rotation. The role focuses on ensuring safety, health, and environmental compliance across all contractor activities within the ISBL scope of our LNG project. The ideal candidate will spend most of their time in the field, actively engaging with contractors to maintain the highest HSE standards.

Job Description

• Lead by example, promoting TEPMA1 Golden Rules and STOP Card Stop Work Authority.
• Monitor contractor activities, intervene in unsafe acts or conditions, and record observations in the TEPMA1 system.
• Participate in contractor toolbox talks, joint safety tours, and daily HSE meetings.
• Conduct inspections, governance, and assurance checks using designated checklists.
• Review JSAs, risk assessments, method statements, and traffic management plans to ensure compliance.
• Ensure contractor daily plant and equipment checks are performed and documented.
• Participate in incident investigations, level 3 audits, and preparation of HSE communication materials.
• Maintain proper documentation of field activities, including photographs and daily logs, in SharePoint.
• Ensure all mandatory training (LIZZY) is completed and follow IVMS and vehicle safety procedures.
• Provide clear handovers and feedback to contractors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree, diploma, or vocational training in engineering, construction, or HSE.
• Minimum 3 years of HSE experience, preferably in LNG, oil & gas, mining, petrochemical, chemical, or process industries.
• Experience managing large construction sites with onshore and nearshore facilities.
• Knowledge of H&S and environmental management systems for complex projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS365, and internet applications.
• Fluent in Portuguese (Mozambique) and English (oral and written).
• Physically and mentally fit for 12-hour shifts over a 28-day rotation.
