In this pivotal role, you'll identify underutilized assets, manage inventory distribution, and coordinate equipment purchases to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness across the region. Responsibilities
- Locate and track underutilized assets throughout the region to improve resource allocation
- Monitor and manage expendable supply stocks across multiple locations
- Implement hub & spoke distribution systems for efficient inventory management
- Coordinate with Houston purchasing teams to maximize buying power for capital equipment
- Serve as the regional focal point for equipment searches to avoid unnecessary purchases
- Arrange movement of rental, fishing, and service equipment to optimize utilization and revenue
- Support various departments including inventory tracking, marketing, accounting, and field operations
- Maintain the highest standards of safety, security, and compliance with company policies
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives for quality and efficiency
- Communicate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders
Skills Required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong diplomatic abilities when dealing with internal and external customers
- Detailed knowledge of inventory management and asset tracking
- Proficiency in coordinating cross-location resource allocation
- Ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement efficiency measures
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to safety, quality, and ethical business practices
Qualifications Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3-4+ years of operational experience
- years of coordinator experience
- Business skills in Operations and Administration
- Knowledge of Weatherford's service equipment and business operations
Qualifications Preferred
- Associate's degree
- Experience in oil and gas industry logistics or supply chain
- Familiarity with asset management systems
