A senior techno-commercial leader to drive the Integrated Manufacturing & Digital Supply Chain Transformation initiative at Weatherford India.

Responsibilities

1. Enhance Integrated Manufacturing Capabilities

• Strengthen assembly, testing, and premium threading capabilities at the plant
• Implement WIP visibility and structured assembly tracking.
• Improve first-pass yield and reduce rework through controlled production workflows.

1. Integrated Manufacturing Strategy Execution

• Develop an end-to-end order-to-delivery manufacturing flow, aligning global demand, supplier execution, and final assembly capacity.
• Drive EBOM → MBOM → Supplier BOM alignment to ensure production accuracy.
• Develop product-wise value stream maps and eliminate non-value-added activities.

1. Digital Supply Chain & Supplier Integration

• Implement an integrated digital thread across PLM, ERP/MRP/MES, suppliers, and ATLAS.
• Establish real-time visibility of inventory, WIP, capacity, OTD, quality, and cost.
• Standardize forecasting, planning, and engineering change workflows to enable synchronized execution and working capital optimization.

1. RD&E - Manufacturing Alignment

• Establish structured design-to-manufacturing governance.
• Lead COE (Centre of excellence) framework for global standardization and knowledge retention.
• Reduce engineering iteration cycles and design-related rework.

1. Shared Services & Centralized Planning

• Centralize procurement planning and MRP execution.
• Establish integrated demand planning from Weatherford Global to Weatherford Baroda.
• Establish a supply chain control tower for capacity visibility, risk monitoring, and escalation governance.

1. TCO & Operational Excellence

• Identify and execute cost reduction initiatives across manufacturing hours, assembly efficiency, and engineering cycle time.
• Drive lean execution and KPI-linked TCO improvement programs.

Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering

Experience

10 years in Engineering Manufacturing / Oil & Gas / Heavy Equipment / Industrial Manufacturing with proven experience in:

• Digital manufacturing transformation
• ERP/MRP/MES implementation
• Supplier development & integration
• Multi-plant supply chain management
• TCO cost reduction programs

Technical Competencies

• EBOM → MBOM transformation
• Lean manufacturing & value stream mapping
• Supplier development & audit
