By joining our Distributed Control System Digital Apps team you will be developing My Control system on-premise-based applications focusing on cyber security solutions with the required knowledge

Your role and responsibilities

As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will be a member of the Agile team in Bangalore, India/Kraków Poland/Minden Germany. You will be working in a cross-functional team that operates in an international environment. Being part of this team means also being a part of the huge stream which operates using the Scaled Agile Framework.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Design and develop greenfield products using microservices architecture.
• Use industry-standard development methods to produce reliable products and a compelling user experience.
• Participate in the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, and delivery.
• Follow DevOps practices to support efficient development, integration, and deployment processes.

Qualifications for the role:

• 12-15 years of professional experience in test automation across component, integration, and system levels.
• Practical experience using automation tools like Selenium and Playwright, in addition to performance testing.
• Solid grasp of SOLID principles, design and architectural patterns, and data structures, paired with proficient coding and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments with CI/CD tools, ensuring efficient testing and delivery processes.
• Practical experience with Docker or other containerization technologies and proficiency in Git for version control.
• Exposure to Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and modern cloud/container technologies; knowledge of Angular, HTML, and CSS.
• Demonstrates critical thinking, creativity, and a commitment to continuous learning, with additional experience in industrial automation, cybersecurity, networking, and security protocols.
