In which organization will you work as a Quality, Safety & Environment Manager (H/F)?

We are recruiting for our client, an engineering consulting firm and subsidiary of a major French engineering group, a Quality, Safety & Environment Manager (H/F) on a permanent contract in Lyon .

The company supports public and private project owners from design through to delivery in the development of transport infrastructure projects, including roads, highways, railways, active mobility, public transport, and environmental projects.

Job Title: Quality, Safety & Environment Manager (H/F)

What will your missions and responsibilities be?

Reporting directly to the Management team, you will oversee the Integrated Management System (IMS) and contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's quality and environmental practices.

Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Managing and ensuring the effective operation of the Integrated Management System (IMS)
  • Organizing and supervising internal and external audits, as well as management reviews
  • Managing documentation, monitoring non-conformities, and overseeing corrective and improvement action plans
  • Supporting project teams on quality-related topics
  • Contributing to regulatory monitoring, supplier evaluation, and internal IMS communication
  • Raising awareness and training employees on management system requirements
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance (risk assessments, GDPR, etc.)

What profile and skills are required for this Quality, Safety & Environment Manager role?

Education
  • Master's degree (Bac +5) in Quality, Safety & Environment

Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role

Skills
  • Strong knowledge of QSE management systems
  • Ability to plan and manage audits
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
