Empowering Projects in a complex world.

Join our organisation, where we have a huge variety of projects on-the-go at any one time. So when you start this role with us, it could take your career wherever your interests lie. You'll find everyone here is willing to pitch in and help because we all want you to succeed, and we're ready to help you grow.

As an Assistant Change Manager in our Secure Government division, you'll be recognised equally for your contributions. Supported within multi-disciplinary teams, you'll work closely with clients in an advisory role. Your responsibilities will include facilitating workshops, delivering project outputs and assisting with reports and client presentations. You'll also help to develop tools and methodologies that will build on our capabilities within our Transformation Solutions Practice.

Your role

  • Provide structured support across a range of change activities.
  • Help clients understand, prepare for and adopt new ways of working.
  • Coordinate analysis, engagement and delivery tasks.
  • Gather, document and communicate information accurately.
  • Contribute to workshops and collaborative sessions.
  • Create supporting materials such as presentations, reports and artefacts.
  • Track and report progress across workstreams and maintain key delivery documents.
  • Assist in developing change products that support client outcomes and internal capability.
  • Learn from experienced colleagues, building confidence and skills in change delivery.
  • Play a supportive, enabling role that contributes to overall project success.

About you

  • A foundation-level understanding of change management principles and delivery methods (e.g., stakeholder engagement, communications, readiness, benefits awareness).
  • Experience supporting communication and engagement delivery, including helping prepare messaging, coordinating engagement activities and contributing to clear, audience-appropriate communications.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to support multiple workstreams.
  • Clear and confident written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to facilitate or support workshops, meetings and collaborative sessions.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn from senior colleagues and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Analytical skills for gathering, interpreting and presenting information.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving with support from senior team members.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Experience working in project environments (desirable).
  • An interest in digital transformation and how organisations adapt to new ways of working.

We support flexible working and welcome applications that align with our policies. While hybrid working is part of life at AtkinsRéalis, many Secure Government projects require more onsite collaboration due to security and client requirements. For these positions, candidates must be able to work onsite at least four days per week.
