Grade 7: £39,424 - £47,779 per annum

Full-time (part-time at a minimum of 30 hours per week may be considered)

Fixed-term until mid-April 2027, to start as soon as possible

Location: 12 Bevington Road, Oxford, OX2 6LH

The role supports hybrid working, with an expectation of at least 2 days per week onsite (or 40% of working hours).

About the Role

This is a great opportunity for an experienced operational manager to take on a key role within OSGA's Professional Services team. This is an excellent development opportunity, and we actively encourage applications from colleagues seeking a secondment to broaden their strategic, operational and leadership experience.

We are looking for a practical and proactive Business Continuity and Projects Manager to lead the School Administration team and move forward important operational priorities. This role would suit someone who takes ownership, enjoys improving how things work, and can deliver real, practical improvements across buildings, systems and processes.

Reporting to the Head of Administration and Finance, you will:
  • Lead on business continuity, risk management, health & safety, security and facilities oversight
  • Oversee a varied portfolio of building, refurbishment and process improvement projects
  • Line manage the Safety & Facilities Support Officer and the Executive Assistant and Events Coordinator
  • Play a central role in strengthening operational resilience and supporting the School's strategic objectives

You will work closely with the Head of School, senior academic colleagues and Professional Services teams, ensuring that OSGA's physical environment and operational infrastructure effectively support a vibrant and internationally engaged academic community.

About You

You may already be doing a similar role and ready to take on more, or looking for a development opportunity where you can step up quickly and use your experience more broadly.

You will bring:
  • Strong project management experience, including oversight of budgets
  • Experience leading and developing staff
  • Sound working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and compliance
  • A track record of establishing or improving processes and operating standards
  • The confidence to work independently while balancing competing priorities
  • Excellent organisational, IT and prioritisation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build productive relationships across diverse stakeholder groups

You are practical, stay calm under pressure, and enjoy improving how things work. You work well with others and provide steady leadership.
