- Accountable for the successful delivery of assigned Supply Chain activities.
- Responsible for the end‑to‑end sourcing process for low‑risk procurement and subcontracting activities, including:
- Conducting price negotiations to achieve measurable cost savings and meet annual savings targets.
- Utilizing the Wood Approved Supplier Register (ASR) and, where required, project/client‑approved supplier lists for supplier evaluation, audits, and selection.
- Supporting supplier performance reviews and contributing to ongoing supplier management, ensuring corrective actions are taken when need
- Responsible for delivering expediting activities, including:\Preparing daily expediting reports and coordinating desk expediting with warehouses or job sites.
- Updating procurement systems with current order status and follow‑up dates.
- Issuing expediting progress reports.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for materials and logistics activities, including:
- Preparing shipping documents for all material movements.
- Timely updating of procurement systems with goods receipts.
- Supporting warehouse materials handling (OS&D checks, bagging/tagging, preparing shipments, marshalling).
- Identifying materials shortages and surpluses.
- Managing requisitioning and control of small tools, consumables, and equipment.
- Ensures all Supply Chain activities are conducted in alignment with project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and established procedures.
- Updates the procurement status report (PSR) in accordance with required on‑site dates and current/estimated delivery times, notifying Supply Chain Management of any delays.
- Ensures full compliance with the Wood Supply Chain Code of Conduct, legal/statutory requirements, and internal processes, including accurate and auditable documentation.
- Promotes safe working practices and demonstrates commitment to safety.
- Understands and embodies Wood's vision, values, and behaviors.
- Works in accordance with the Wood Financial Management Framework.
- Performs all other duties reasonably assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related area; experience gained through internships or graduate programs with SOCAR or other well‑known companies is highly preferred.
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data, reports, and procurement systems.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, supplier evaluations, basic commercial principles, and procurement processes is an advantage.
