Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of pricing strategies for the relevant division/business unit/product group, to maximize profit and market share, while ensuring customer satisfaction with ABB. Each day, you will follow a robust pricing infrastructure and pricing policies to deliver measurable results. You will also showcase your expertise by providing support for developing effective and efficient standards and special pricing strategy in line with the global division strategy, value, competition, and cost/profit.

The work model for the role is: Onsite

This role is contributing to the Electrification Business Area in China. Main stakeholders are Sales Teams, Channel Sales Directors, Segment Teams, Finance, and Regional Pricing Managers.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Pricing Specialist to join our Pricing Deployment Team. You will play a critical role in ensuring pricing consistency, driving profitability, and supporting strategic pricing initiatives across the region.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Providing support for developing pricing concepts to establish and manage international and/or cross-divisional pricings, such as in-frame agreements and key accounts/ industrial segment requirements, to ensure consistency.
• Sharing knowledge and supporting its application throughout your area of accountability.
• Driving increased profitability through established professional pricing infrastructure.
• Analyzing the international pricing structure and the conditions to calculate profit reserves.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

• You are immersed in / engaged in / absorbed in / highly skilled in/ you enjoy working with SFDC, SAP and pricing tools and the electrical equipment and automation market.
• Ability to demonstrate your experience in / Have established skills / advanced skills / You have 3+ years of experience in pricing, operations support, approval management, or related business functions.
• Possess an enhanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel ( advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis ) and are qualified in SAP or other ERP systems for price maintenance.
• You are passionate about process optimization and continuous improvement and captivated by problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering high-quality results.
• Bachelor degree
• You are at ease communicating in English
