DG BOSS: Warehouseman
- Receive, store, and distribute material, tools, equipment, and supplies throughout warehouse to sustain Vehicle maintenance production activities.
- Unload trucks, check in merchandise, reconcile purchase orders with sales orders, and distribute received inventory to designated production areas.
- Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts to move materials and items from receiving and storage areas to production floor.
- Generate reports documenting defective materials, questionable conditions, and quality benchmark results.
- Maintained inventory of materials and supplies on hand in shops; managed inventory counts and prepared purchase order to replenish used materials and supplies and report any discrepancies.
- Reconciled purchase orders against goods received to confirm receipt and report defective products to suppliers.
- Moved materials to production zones and trucks using hand truck, platform truck, and forklifts; installed protective devices to prevent shifting or damage to transported items.
- Created and maintained safe working environment by maintaining the work area and upholding safety regulations.
- Communicate and cooperate with Supervisors and coworkers
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
- Handling multiple issues regarding safety and maintenance increases pressure.
- Workload may be unpredictable, and pressure can be substantial during peak times.
- Perform the inventory of Transportation Department supplies & vehicle parts.
- Critical deadlines require considerable adaptability.
- Assist in the random physical inventory of all materials carried under Transportation Department as required by KBR-DG management.
- Perform other related duties as maybe assigned by immediate Supervisor
Basic Qualifications
- Must speak, read and understand English language.
- Must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health.
- Must be computer literate and knowledge on most common and current Microsoft office software, and the Navy Maximo program.
- Must be able to identify and interpret vehicles and equipment codes.
- Must be familiar with the use of FEDLOG compact disc for research.
- Must have a country valid driver's license Pro with RC 2,3
Preferred Qualifications
EDUCATION:
- At least high school graduate or its equivalent in this technical field.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum two (2 ) years experienced in the field of technical parts processing in Navy supply system.
- Forklift certification preferred.
