Function Description

At iPS Powerful People, we are proactively building a strong talent pool of qualified Oilers/Motormen for upcoming offshore projects worldwide. This campaign is not linked to one specific vacancy-rather, we are looking to connect with skilled professionals who are ready to mobilize when suitable opportunities arise.

As an Offshore Oiler, you will play a key role in supporting the engine room team, ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the vessel's machinery and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Assisting Engineers with the operation and maintenance of mechanical and engine room equipment
• Performing routine lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of machinery
• Monitoring engine parameters and reporting abnormalities
• Supporting planned and unplanned maintenance activities
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and engine room procedures
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the engine spaces

Requirements

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Oiler/Motorman
• Valid STCW certificates relevant to the role
• Valid Offshore Medical and BOSIET/FOET
• Strong understanding of engine room safety, mechanical systems, and operational procedures
• Ability to follow instructions, work in a disciplined manner, and support the engineering team
• UK Work Permit (essential for upcoming projects)
