Function Description

At iPS Powerful People, we are proactively building a pool of qualified Offshore Crane Operators for worldwide offshore projects. This is not a vacancy for a single position, but a campaign aimed at connecting with top professionals who want to be considered for future assignments and quick mobilizations.

As an Offshore Crane Operator, you play a crucial role in ensuring safe and efficient lifting operations on offshore vessels and platforms. You will work closely with deck teams, project crews, and bridge personnel to make sure lifts are performed according to procedures, industry standards, and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Operating offshore cranes to safely lift, transfer, and position cargo, equipment, and materials
• Conducting pre-lift inspections and ensuring crane equipment is maintained and functioning properly
• Following lifting plans and coordinating with deck crew, riggers, and supervisors
• Monitoring weather, sea states, and operational hazards to ensure safe lifting conditions
• Maintaining logbooks, checklists, and required documentation
• Adhering to all offshore safety procedures, toolbox talks, and risk assessments

Requirements

Requirements:

• Proven offshore experience as a Crane Operator
• Valid Stage 3 Crane Operator Certificate
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid Offshore Medical + BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS
• Strong understanding of lifting plans, crane safety systems, and offshore lifting standards
• Ability to work safely in dynamic offshore environments
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multicultural teams
