Job Description:

Software Engineer with strong experience in cloud native and serverless architectures. The role involves building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems using AWS, Node.js, and Python, while collaborating closely with multi-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain serverless and containerized backend services on AWS
• Build and manage AWS Lambda, Fargate/ECS, and related cloud components
• Develop RESTful and event driven APIs using Node.js and Python
• Design scalable, fault tolerant, secure architectures
• Collaborate with Product, Frontend, and DevOps teams
• Write clean, maintainable, and well tested code
• Participate in system design, architecture, and code reviews
• Optimize performance, reliability, and cost on AWS
• Implement security best practices, monitoring, and logging
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation

Required Technical Skills

Cloud & Backend

• AWS services: Lambda, Fargate/ECS, API Gateway, IAM, CloudWatch, S3, DynamoDB/RDS
• Strong hands-on experience with serverless architectures

Programming

• Proficiency in Node.js and Python
• Experience building backend services, APIs, and microservices

DevOps & Tooling

• Version control using Git
• CI/CDbased development (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
• Infrastructure as Code exposure (CloudFormation, Terraform) - plus

Architecture & Design

• Strong understanding of design patterns
• Knowledge of system design and distributed systems
• Experience designing scalable, highavailability applications

Good to Have

• Docker and container orchestration basics
• Eventdriven systems (SNS, SQS, EventBridge)
• Monitoring, logging, and observability tools
• Cloud security best practices
• Agile/Scrum experience
• Basic frontend or API consumer knowledge

Soft Skills

• Strong problem solving and analytical approach
• Clear communication and collaboration skills
• Ownership and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Willingness to learn and adapt
