Senior Field Service Specialist - Motor

JOB SUMMARY

installation, Testing, Commissioning and Servicing of medium Voltage and Low Voltage Motors

Your role and responsibilities
1. Checking the installation & Commissioning of the New installed LV ABB and MV motors

2. Perform Motor Alignment's with Driven Equipment

3. On-site trouble-shooting of motors in terms of electro-mechanical works.

4. Technical sales visit i.e. informing customers about their motor's conditions and providing them feasible solutions in terms of preventive and predictive maintenance.

5. On-site overhauling of motors and Performing wide range of on-site electrical tests that include static electrical tests (winding resistance, megger etc.), partial discharge test, tan-delta test, hi-potential test, PDCA

6. Performing ABB LEAP test on site. Performing Machsense-P test on site. And Vibration

7. Installation and Commissioning of ABB Synchronous motors AMS 900-1250 and AMZ.•

8. Using the ABB tools (equipment/instruments and software) to detect any critical faults and provide solutions in order to help the customer achieve more in terms of production and reliability.

9. Analyze the Motor Vibration measurements in order to Figure out the root Causes of Vibration ( Alignment , Bearing Failure....etc )

10. ABB Certified and Experience on L3/L4 maintenance of ABB Synchronous Motors and Generators

11. Having AMS/GBA Preventive Maintenance L3 Certificate and AMG Preventive Maintenance L3/4 Certificate , Basic Field Service & L1-L2 Preventive Maintenance Certificate , General Induction Machines L3-L4 Preventive Maintenance Certificate , K284 Synchronous Motors and Generators L3 & L4

12. Experience on Synchronous Motors and Generators L3 & L4 preventive maintenance

Qualifications for the role

* BCs or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 10 to 15 Years Experience in installation , Testing , Commissioning and Servicing of LV and MV Motor

* BCs or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

* 10 to 15 Years Experience

* You are at ease communicating in English and Arabic.
