Job Description Summary

GE Aerospace Poland Sp. z o.o. in Warsaw is focused on advanced aviation technologies and supporting the company's global engineering, manufacturing, and service activities. We are expanding our operations and building a new production facility of aviation engine cooled turbine components. We are looking for experienced Production Site Leader to lead the greenfield/brownfield facility build-up and then run day‑to‑day low volume advanced components production.

The Production Site Leader will own the end‑to‑end setup and ramp‑up of a new production facility and then lead its ongoing operations. This includes overseeing facility planning, equipment selection and installation, process design, staffing, safety and quality systems, and attainment of production targets (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost). This role is highly cross‑functional and requires strong leadership, technical understanding of manufacturing, and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
This role will also lead existing adv manufacturing technology development laboratories that support product and process industrialization for the new facility. The main processes cover additive technology & EDM

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and lead cross functional production and operations team responsible for production setup and future operations.
  • Develop production facility, related systems, equipment and processes to ensure production readiness to meet business targets.
  • Collaborate with other functions (including Operations, IT, Finance, Quality, Sourcing, EHS, ect) to meet all applicable requirements.
  • Define production strategy, collaborate with internal and external customers to define future production roadmap. Ensure production demand to fulfill capacity.
  • Oversee day to day production operations to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost targets.
  • Establish and maintain a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
  • Drive Lean Culture including problem-solving, continuous improvement, 5S, visual management, and other lean practices to reduce waste, improve productivity, and stabilize processes.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree/Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or related field.
  • Experience in production / manufacturing leadership roles.
  • Proven experience in setting up or significantly expanding a production line or facility (greenfield or brownfield).
  • Demonstrated success leading teams in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and industrialization.
  • Experience with production planning, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) / Manufacturing Execution System (MES) systems, and data‑driven decision making.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing/continuous improvement tools and methods.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to build and motivate Teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical, structured, and hands‑on mindset.
  • Ability to manage complex projects, prioritize, and deliver on commitments.
  • Fluent in Polish and English.
