Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you'll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the efficient management of subcontractors and the purchasing of components for the manufacturing of electrical cabinets. Their main objective will be to ensure that the outsourcing of manufacturing processes outside the company is carried out according to the established quality and cost standards, while also ensuring that the purchased products are suitable for production.

• Implement Commodity Strategies to ensure long terms, cost efficient supply of Materials.
• Develop and implement outsourcing strategies, select qualified subcontractors, and ensure compliance with production timelines and specifications. Collaborate with engineering and logistics to meet technical and delivery requirements.
• Manage the procurement of components for electrical cabinets, ensuring quality standards and coordinating with logistics for timely material availability.
• Responsible to update and control the internal procedure and systems (SAP, ARIBA)
• Contributes to implementation and ensuring usage of globally defined methods, processes and systems to ensure high process efficiency and process compliance (e.g. compliant Purchase-to Pay, P2P process, Procurement guidelines, IT systems).
• Arrange and conducts negotiations to obtain highest feasible savings.
• Executes supplier Management processes (e.g. qualification, selection, evaluation, development, classification).
• Ensure close cooperation with Internal Customers (requisitioners) to ensure customer care and early involvement.
• Provides supplier information to the project and conducts project-specific supplier evaluation.

Qualifications for the Role

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, technical studies or relevant field.
• Knowledge of electronics is highly desirable.
• Previous experience: More than 2 years in Industrial manufacturing and 4-5 years procurement.
• Availability for travel on business trips worldwide.
• Drive License.
• Work model: #LI-hybrid
• Good Knowledge of English (C1-Advanced)
• Location: San Fernando de Hanares - Madrid
