We are searching for an extracurricular intern to join our team. As Intern - Materials & Planning Engineer you will support the generation of Master Production Schedule (MPS), in order to meet required output with available capacity and releases job cards in line with the plan.
You will learn how to manage shortages to maximize enablement and you will collaborate closely with Flow Leaders/Production Line Managers to ensure buy-in and adherence to the plan.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities
  • Learn how to generate daily and weekly production schedule
  • Support shortages management to maximize clear to build and on time starts/finishes
  • Learn how to release job cards in line with MRP and action exception messages
  • Collaborate with Operations team to provide output commits
  • Use your knowledge to define daily/weekly production goals and track adherence to the plan
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure resources are appropriately allocated and aligned to achieve the plan
  • Be a good team player and be able work with tight schedules
  • Monitor the integrity of job card data to ensure MRP signals are correct


Qualifications/Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Engineering field, preferably in Management Engineering
  • Fluent Italian and good knowledge of English
  • Knowledge of Office tools
  • Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions
  • Curious and eager to learn
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to handle various activities simultaneously
  • Previous experience in a similar production environment would be beneficial
