Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and optimize daily shift operations across production, planning, and shipping
- Drive performance to meet or exceed safety, quality, and production goals
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement proactive solutions
- Adjust staffing, workflows, and priorities to maintain consistent output
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with HSE and company policies
- Partner cross-functionally with planning, maintenance, quality, and logistics
Job Duties
- Monitor production data, inventory levels, and shipping metrics to support decision-making
- Lead shift meetings to communicate priorities, expectations, and performance updates
- Coach, develop, and hold team members accountable to performance standards
- Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency and waste reduction
- Ensure proper use of equipment, tools, and production systems
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Education and Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Experience with production processes, inventory control, and shipping operations
- Forklift certification preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work with computer-controlled equipment and production systems
- Ability to work overtime and varying shifts as needed
- Physically able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Travel less than 10%
