Senior Civil Engineer - Data Centre & Energy Infrastructure London HQ / Nordic projects £80,000 - £100,000 + benefits Are you an experienced civil engineer ready to take ownership of complex, large?scale infrastructure projects across Northern Europe? This is a unique opportunity to help shape the foundations of next?generation, sustainable data centre campuses powered entirely by renewable energy. The Opportunity You'll lead the civil scope across multi?acre campuses, covering platforms, drainage, access roads, substations, fuel storage, and heat?export networks. The role spans early?stage masterplanning, consultant and contractor coordination, and on?site QA/QC for major developments across the UK and Nordics. What You'll Be Doing Define civil design standards and typical details in collaboration with structural and M&E teams. Oversee external consultants delivering sitewide infrastructure and utilities. Manage brownfield adaptations and greenfield developments, ensuring compliance with regional standards. Coordinate closely with design and construction partners to integrate multi?MW cooling and renewable energy systems. Provide technical assurance on drainage, geotechnics, and utility corridor design. About You 10+ years' experience in civil design and delivery for major industrial, energy, or infrastructure sites (data centres, power plants, airports, refineries). Strong BIM coordination skills (Revit or Navisworks). Proficiency with Eurocode standards and ideally Nordic or similar cold?climate design experience. Expertise in earthworks, drainage, flood resilience, and utility planning. Comfortable working across multiple international sites as part of a matrixed team.
