We are seeking engineers, scientists, and technologists to join our Site Assessment and Remediation (SAR) team. This role supports our local environmental group on a variety of projects within site assessment, remediation, and environmental monitoring. Reporting to a Project Manager or Coordinator, you will work closely with experienced environmental professionals and gain valuable hands-on experience across diverse project environments early in your engineering or environmental career.

Your Role

• To work directly with Project Managers and project team members to meet client deliverables on time and on budget
• To conduct local and remote field work on diverse sites while maintaining a strong focus on health, safety, environment, and community
• To execute field programs, with appropriate training, including drilling investigations, soil and sediment sampling, groundwater and soil vapour monitoring and sampling, remedial excavations, and environmental monitoring
• To coordinate and oversee contractors during field activities
• To calibrate, operate, and maintain field instruments and equipment
• To collect field data and prepare detailed documentation such as monitoring data, field notes, site sketches, photographs, and GPS data
• To submit field data and prepare summaries for project team members

About You

• Ability to apply a bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Environmental acScience, Geoscience, Engineering, Environmental or Geological Engineering, or a related discipline
• Aptitude for field-based environmental or engineering work, with 1 to 2 years of experience or recent graduate status
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and working knowledge of ArcGIS
• Ability to perform physically demanding field work, including lifting up to 40 lbs, working in varying climatic conditions, and traveling to remote locations
• Ability to communicate effectively, manage time efficiently, and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Valid Class 5 BC driver's license.

Expected compensation for this role is (between Pay Range $55,200 - $89,000 annually) . Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
