Job Purpose:
Weatherford currently have a great opportunity for an experienced Interpretation & Evaluation Services (IES) Manager to join the Team in either Ploiesti Romania, Baku Azerbaijan or Ankara Turkey.The Geozone IES Manager will manage the Interpretation and Evaluation Services throughout the Geozone, acting as the IES focal point for customers and all the product lines requiring support regarding subsurface domains. This role is expected to manage the Geozone strategy for business growth, increased collaboration among product lines and pull-through of additional revenue from the subsurface evaluation perspective.

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and taking an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford's Management System.
- Maintains service quality as an immediate priority when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement.
OPERATIONS
- Defines strategy in the Geozone to achieve IES performance metrics (financial, operational, safety, quality) as established by management.
- Determines areas of development for IES domains based on alignment with business priorities.
- Ensures timely and accurate IES processing, interpretation and evaluation involving all the subsurface evaluation domains across the different product lines of relevance through IES leads or directly, depending on the IES structure in the Geozone.
- Active interactions and coordination with customers as well as support to Weatherford sales teams to maintain and develop further business for Weatherford's various segments from the subsurface expertise.
- Defines innovative workflows relevant to the location that include subsurface domains to provide integrated technical solutions to customers.
- Builds and delivers detailed reports to the management.
- Defines priorities for an active role of IES in relevant technical societies (SPE, SPWLA, etc) according to business priorities.
- Assists operations teams across product lines on post-mortem root-cause analysis on operations related to the subsurface evaluation domains.
- Knows and understands Weatherford's Operational Excellence & Performance System (OEPS) and the Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
- Performs all other IES activities/duties in the Geozone as indicated by the IES Geozone Manager and Country/Area Director.
COMMUNICATION
- Creates and maintains effective communication with all key stakeholders internally and externally. Interact with different groups at all levels inside and outside the organization.
- Communicates expectations, roles and responsibilities to their employees, as well as communicates and discusses with managers highlights/lowlights, opportunities, challenges and grievances.
- Develops strong relationships with current and potential clients (internal or external).
- Adjusts technical conversations to different levels according to the target audience.
FINANCIAL
- Closely monitors finances of the IES group in the Geozone according to management requirements and provides reports accordingly. Some IES Geozone managers might own a P&L.
- Identifies challenges and opportunities for financial improvement and defines, communicates and executes required modifications with the relevant parties.
- Builds and articulates business cases to make financial adjustments to the IES business according to business dynamics and Geozone strategy.
- All employees have an accountability to the organization to be financially responsible whether they are in charge of a function budget or simply their expenses.
- Costs incurred should be within the approved budget, processed within agreed time frames & following the relevant financial policy and procedure.
PEOPLE & DEVELOPMENT
- Develops IES employees in different locations in the Geozone, by implementing career progression, performance reviews, compensation reviews, and any other operational or HR-related duties.
- Employees have a responsibility for developing their careers within the Company including completing all necessary function, compliance and business standards training to enhance their knowledge, skills and experience.
- Employees should engage regularly with their line manager to discuss their personal performance, objectives and opportunities to enhance their skills and experience to support their career potential.
- Actively engages their employees to support talent management through Weatherford's performance management process, including but not limited to talent assessments, succession planning and regular coaching opportunities.
- Supervisors should collaborate with Human Resources & Training Development to drive strategies for the recruitment and retention of key personnel and to foster an environment that supports the attraction and retention of a high performing talented workforce.

- Demonstrates leadership, ethical behavior and adherence to Weatherford standards at all times.
- Provides a strategic approach to IES operations in the Geozone of influence continuously looking for opportunities to increase the IES business according to the relevant business goals.
- Formulates, executes and evaluates strategies to drive multi-product line integration through the subsurface evaluation domains.
- Coaches and trains junior employees at the location, Geozone and global levels.
Skills Required:
- Ability to analyze a wide variety of subsurface evaluation scenarios to determine workflows and technologies of relevance to solve client's challenges (internal or external).
- Detailed knowledge of the customer's main objectives in subsurface characterization and their relevance to Weatherford business.
- General knowledge of the different Weatherford segments and their relevance to the IES domains to identify opportunities for integrated solutions and to design collaboration plans.
- Financial understanding of key metrics for project evaluation.
- Must be self-motivated and an effective team manager.
- Ability to develop and deliver professional presentations.
- Strong organizational and effective communication skills.
- Must be able to make decisions and be able to identify and implement appropriate improvements.
- Excellent leadership, strong interpersonal, negotiating, influencing and planning skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability and willingness to develop business acumen skills through internal and external courses, and practical on-the-job training.
Skills Preferred:
- Proven record on conception and execution of collaboration projects.
- Experience in multiple segments or functions relevant to subsurface evaluation domains.
- Experience in previous roles with financial accountability.
- Experience in training, competency and development of peers and junior employees.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Geoscience in an accredited university.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in subsurface evaluation domains with leadership exposure.
- 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory/management role.
Qualifications Preferred:
- Previous experience in the management of Geoscience domains.
- Post-graduate studies related to Geoscience domains and business administration.
Travel Requirement:
